Stoke Park, a beautiful park in the heart of Guildford

Stoke park is the largest park in Guildford and holds a green flag award, it has plenty of beautiful open green space, and is becoming one of my favourite places to photograph families.

Family Sessions take around 1 hour but in this beautiful park they can take even longer as we enjoy all the beautiful sights. Also as its such a big park its really rare we have people around on our photoshoots, so this makes the families I'm photographing feel safe and comfortable to be posing for the camera.

Stoke Park is also amazing for families to go for a walk and spend a few hours there, it has a fully-equipped children's playground, skate park, paddling pool, pond, fitness trail and mini-golf course. On the weekends you can see many sports activities happening there in the mornings, but my favourite thing about Stoke park is the variety of scenes for a photoshoot.

With all the beautiful countryside in and around Guildford and Surrey we are spoilt for choice and our wonderful parks can often be overlooked for their beauty. Next time you are in your local park take a look around and take a moment to appreciate the nature and scenery we have on our doorstep.
